Planning Application Granted for a “New Approach” at West Heath School

On behalf of long standing existing client West Heath School in Sevenoaks, DMP have obtained planning permission from Sevenoaks District Council for the widening and re-surfacing of the existing and temporary access roads within the school grounds. 

The project shall include relocation of entry/exit barriers, associated intercoms & provision of new ANPR controls in order to improve the safety of vehicles and pedestrians entering the site from the public highway. 

In order to consider ecology measures the proposal includes landscaping improvements, installation of timber bollards and low level lighting to the perimeter of the driveway.

The scheme also provides much needed additional 18 no. new parking spaces and 5 no. EV charging points.

Moving forward, DMP are now instructed by the school to develop and finalise details in connection with reserved planning conditions and preparation of detailed drawings and specification with a view to administering the works to undertaken in early 2024.
