Following on from our newsfeed on the 4th October 2021 having received granted permission for oak framed garages with room over. DMP have now successfully received planning permission from Wealden District Council for the erection of orangery to rear lower ground floor and extension at ground floor including internal alterations.

The property, a mid terraced house forms part of a much larger substantial Edwardian Manor house converted in the 1950’s as it is found today. The property sits in a prominent hillside position with far reaching views to the South.

DMP carefully considered and designed the rear extensions in order the proposals were proportionate and coherent addition to the property and not to harm the visual amenity. The scheme allowed to make improvements to existing internal arrangements. Importantly, allow an interconnection between the house and garden which it was lacking.

Following planning permission DMP has been working with the client to develop and now completed the Building Regulations drawing package. We anticipate the client can commence with the works in Autumn 2022.

Its worth mentioning that, working with 13 Councils across London and Southeast, from March 2021 to March 2022, DMP proudly achieved 86.4% successful Planning Application outcomes.
