DMP have recently completed a Full Building and Acquisition Survey of a characterful property located in the heart of Wadhurst.

‘Granary Cottage’ originally believed to have been constructed in the mid 1700’s as a grain store. In later years converted to provide residential accommodation over ground, first and second floors.

The property was sensitively converted retaining existing original oak beams and columns. Furthermore, providing high ceilings including feature vaulted ceiling to main bedroom which is accessed by a feature spiral staircase.

Although the property is located in the heart of Wadhurst village it has the benefit of a fully enclosed private garden including large decked area and summerhouse with views across adjoining countryside and Bewl Water.

During the detailed inspection, including complimentary Aerial Drone Imaging, our surveyor observed, at high level, that immediate repairs are required to the timber and slate second floor dormers.
