Acquisition & Full Building Survey on Stunning Kent Barn Conversion
Fast approaching the deadline of 20th June, meaning the end of Stamp Duty Holiday!
We have seen record demand of clients requiring Full Building & Acquisition Surveys.
DMP have recently completed a Full Building and Acquisition Survey of a characterful property located on the outskirts of Hadlow, Kent.
‘Little Barns’ is an impressive detached Grade II Listed barn conversion. It forms part of three similar barn style homes within a small exclusive development.
The barn conversion in 1996 is to a high standard. Interesting period features include vaulted ceiling to one of the three linked barns forming the impressive Sitting Room. A central barn forms the Dining and Kitchen with outlook onto private courtyard garden. Furthermore, a bedroom wing provides the main bedroom with en-suite, and a further two bedrooms with family bathroom. A feature oriel window to the main bedroom allows natural light to cascade. Well placed skylight windows to En-suite, hallway and Dining Room, continue to flood the property with natural daylight.
Interestingly, originally constructed in 19th Century and formed part of small holding associated with adjoining farmhouse constructed in the 18th Century. The property is sensitively converted retaining existing original oak beams and columns. Furthermore, providing high ceilings including feature vaulted ceiling to living room and main bedroom.
