Ben talks about his time at DMP for work experience

School Student, Ben Faure Walker, Tonbridge School, joined the DMP team last week for his chosen Work Experience Placement. Here is what he had to say about his experience:

“I do recommend DMP. Having done work experiences at other companies before, I feel that the DMP team have been very welcoming and I have always had something rather interesting to do. I enjoyed creating room plans with dimensions taken from the building and then mapping them out using Auto CAD software to create an entire floor plan.”

“I think Sam and Claudine were really helpful as I spent the most time with them, as well as Carolyn. Sam took me to Earls Road to do some measuring and meet with Clients. Claudine also showed me what her interesting job involved. Finally, Carolyn demonstrated to me how to use Auto CAD and how to draw up the dimensions I took, to make a professional floor plan of the office. The DMP team were all very helpful.”

“I genuinely believed I learned a lot and I am seriously considering becoming an Architect or going into something along the lines of Building Surveying. I thank everyone here at DMP who were all very nice and informative and I would definitely recommend DMP for work experience.”
