Can you see the defect?

DMP undertook a roof inspection this morning to a property recently renovated to a high standard but during our inspection we found defects which may not be easily noted; can you see them?

The answers –

• There was bird netting tightly fitted over the top of an automatic opening smoke vent.
• Bird netting screwed into the top of the parapet wall causing a failure of the overhang drip.
• Bird netting screwed into the lead flashing, causing a bridge for moisture.
