Receives Full Refurbishment
in Tunbridge Wells

Following a Schedule of Condition carried out by DMP, development of the specification of repairing works, submission of the tender package to several contractors, tender analysis and reporting by DMP. We are delighted to share that building works have commenced on site to the commercial offices on Little Mount Sion, Tunbridge Wells.

The proposed works comprise of the external rectification and replacement of existing weathering treatments to the external envelope of the property, including the completion of required external maintenance defects:

  • New roof coverings and upgrading parapet gutter design works to ensure fully weathered and water tight.
  • Render repairs and reapplication, including all new leadwork flashing/junctions.
  • Repointing and brickwork repairs.
  • Removal of existing asbestos slate tile covering and replacement roof tile covering.
  • Concrete fatigue repairs and internal redecoration within under croft parking.
  • Replacement Roof Lights.
  • Internal redecorations.

What is a Schedule of Condition?

The Schedule of Condition shall record the accurate condition of a building on the commencement of a lease term. Specifically in order to limit our clients repairing liability at the end of the lease term.

Many tenants enter in to leases to occupy a premises without consideration of repairing obligations and fail to understand repairing liabilities and responsibilities they are signing up to.

Without a Schedule of Condition it can be difficult for the Landlord or Tenant to establish the condition of the premises on lease commencement.
