DMP Begin Work on Prestigious Listed Building in Reading

Last week DMP began project managing works associated to a historic and prestigious building in Reading.

Planning and listed building consent has been obtained to provide 3 retail units at ground floor and 8 residential dwellings at first, second and third floors. Due to the location and historic nature of the property these dwellings and building works shall require specialist professional appointments and contractors, ensuring the finish is to a very high standard.

DMP undertook the second inspection of the building during April and found the property in a state of disrepair. Works are proposed to commence during 2019 and shall take approx 12 months to complete. We are looking forward to breathing new life into this extraordinary building.

The properties are all found on the historic England listing and are Grade II listed.
