Interesting the feedback we received from our young learners was wonderful. Jude, Patcham Highschool wrote in his satisfaction survey “I have had an interesting and fun week, I have come away from this week with a stronger knowledge and wider skill set than before“.
Jack, Tonbridge School shared, ” what a great team, thank you to Sam and Jon for making my experience so enjoyable and teaching me AutoCAD design. Depspite the 7 year uni course I feel architecture is the route for me!”
Harry, Tunbridge Wells Grammar School articulately shared “I enjoyed going to site and taking interesting pictures of the buildings. Plus using the Auto CAD software to draw the DMP office which I measured up. This exposure has now given me the desire to train as an architect”
Finally Daniel, Trinity School Sevenoaks commented, “working at DMP has open up ideas for opportunities for me in the future, I enjoyed working to the company values and with the design software. I would very much like to return in the summer for more work experience.”
In addition, the Education Business Partnership recognised DMP for our “exceptional support in assisting the young people of Kent through work experience.”
Our work experience programme is designed to encourage, inspire and build confidence for each young learner, preparing them to join the workforce while giving them a real taste of a professional environment and a hard working team.
On the whole, we are honored with this acknowledgement and we look forward to welcome the next wave of talent in 2019.
