Update: Work has now begun onsite to erect scaffolding in order the external roof can be reviewed and repaired. In addition, the external elevations prepared for new rendering and decorations. This is to provide a much needed face lift upgrade to this prolific property in Tunbridge Wells.
Expert planning had been employed due to the tight nature of access on the site.
The Proposed Works
The proposed works comprise of the external rectification and replacement of existing weathering treatments to the external envelope of the property, including the completion of required external maintenance defects:
- New roof coverings and upgrading parapet gutter design works to ensure fully weathered and water tight.
- Render repairs and reapplication, including all new leadwork flashing/junctions.
- Repointing and brickwork repairs.
- Removal of existing asbestos slate tile covering and replacement roof tile covering.
- Concrete fatigue repairs and internal redecoration within under croft parking.
- Replacement Roof Lights.
- Internal redecorations.
