DMP Support Posh Coffee Morning for
The Gurkha Welfare Trust

This month DMP joined forces with the community of Ringmer, East Sussex, to raise money for The Gurkha Welfare Trust.

On Saturday 8th February, Managing Partner John Whitlock and Mike O’Rourke joined in with a Posh Coffee Morning at Ringmer Village Hall. The popular and well attended event boasted over 30 stalls, cakes and refreshments

Significantly, the popular event,  also supported by a number of Gurkha who arrived in full livery. They spent the morning mingling with the public and sharing their interesting and extraordinary stories. The Gurkha Welfare Trust was founded in 1969 when it was realised that thousands of ex-Gurkha servicemen and their widows were living in destitution in the hill villages of Nepal
