DMP’S I DID NOT KNOW THAT!
Did you know that there is a bridge in Peru that was made of mortar that was mixed with the whites of 10,000 eggs?!
The bridge, Puente de Piedra (The Bridge of Stone), is still standing today. The bridge was built in Lima, Peru around 1610.
The name comes from the stone masonry mortar which was believed to have been mixed with egg whites from sea birds to improve its consistency.
