“GRANTED” Planning Application on Mixed Use Property in Tunbridge Wells
Following on from our newsfeed of 5th January 2023 having undertaken a measured survey for a returning client to DMP, we are pleased to have received granted planning permission from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
The proposals involve extension of existing rear dormer across the full width of the building including a lead rolled roof and internal alterations to six existing flats.
To the front of the property, in order to enhance the existing studio flats at roof level, DMP have carefully incorporated within the design a roof terrace including glazed balustrade. The extra space will be an added benefit providing much needed amenity space and views across to Tunbridge Wells common.
Importantly, DMP having a long standing relationship with the Conservation Officer at Tunbridge Wells have agreed details for full replacement of windows to the front and rear elevations including the shop front due to the building being in Tunbridge Wells Conservation Area.
DMP are now providing detailed building regulation and construction drawings for the client in order the works can commence in early 2024.
