This is an exciting opportunity for an AUTO CAD TECHNICIAN to join DMP Chartered Surveyors which is one of the leading architectural firms in Tunbridge Wells. Notably, it is an ambitious and forward-thinking business which offers building surveying, design, architectural and other professional services to a wide range of commercial clients across London and South East. In addition, It is a very well established firm and we are now looking to recruit an Auto CAD Technician to join our team.
This role is suited for someone with extensive expertise and dedication in this area as well as a solid ability to work in a professional and efficient manner within a team or individually.
Job Description
- Supporting the architects and Building Surveyors in providing detailed drawings
- Prepare planning and building regulation drawings
- Prepare construction/ detailed drawings
- Feasibility Study
- As-built/ identification drawings
- Assist with initial site visits and liaise with the project management team, throughout the construction process, to produce proposed and construction plans utilising AutoCAD and Sketchup Software
- Provide and produce as lad drawings for clients
- Undertake surveys initial, settings out and as built
The Requirements
- Will be highly proficient in Auto CAD
- Knowledge of Sketchup is an advantage
- Have a proven track record of delivering complex technical packages
- Have sound knowledge of UK construction Law and Regulations
- Good time management
- Have mathematical ability and an understanding of the need for accuracy in all work
- Present a professional manner and outlook
- Be IT literate – A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office
