New lease of life for Commercial Building in Haywards Heath

Following our newsfeed of 28th September 2022 and after further detailed design due to ground conditions now requiring the new build elements to include piled foundations works have now commenced on site following competitive tendering.

A JCT Intermediate Contract has been prepared and being administered by DMP who are undertaking regular inspections on site during the construction programme in order to coordinate various consultants and keep the client and future tenant informed. 

DMP are also providing detailed and accurate drawings throughout the build as and when design changes are required. 

The works involve side infill extension over ground and first floors, rear first floor extension over newly formed parking, bin and cycle stores and new shop front and first floor fa├žade. Internal and external repairs are due to be undertaken on the building fabric in order to provide the new tenant with a building free of defects.

The new accommodation over ground and first floor shall provide approximately 15,000 sq.ft of gym. Which has been pre-let to Pure Gym on a fully repairing lease.
