The property is a curtilage listed, dilapidated 3 bay stable, set within ground comprising main farmhouse, workshop, agricultural barn and detached laundry room. The main farmhouse is a Circa 15th century Hall House.

DMP initially carried out a measured survey to form the base existing floorplans and elevations. These drawings were used to develop a scheme for a 1 bed dwelling to provide ancillary accommodation to the main house.

Once the proposed plans were signed off by our client, DMP prepared a Full Planning and Listed Building Consent Application and Planning/Design & Access Statement to submit to Sevenoaks District Council alongside the proposed plans for their consideration.

Due to the nature of the site a heritage surveyor was appointed to prepare a heritage report and impact assessment. Once the heritage report was received, DMP amended the plans to follow recommendations provided by the heritage report.

Liaising with the planning officer to ensure all the information had been provided to allow SDC to issue a decision. The granted decision notice was issued.

DMP will now move forward to the next steps with the project.
