This week and battling the elements, our surveyors surveyed a very attractive 5 bedroom detached property. Including a roomy detached garaging with useful workshop and utility areas with additional studio room. All set in just over 6 beautiful acres.

The impressive house located in semi-rural quite country lane between Burwash and Mayfield. Initially constructed in 1850 with additions in the 1930’s and more recently in 2007 together with new conservatory and garaging in 2015.

To describe, the property is very well presented with recently fitted kitchen and breakfast room. Superb double aspect drawing room leading onto terrace or into recently re-constructed conservatory. The elegant dining room is full character being in the old part of the house with original brick tiled floor. The first floor stylish bedrooms and two spacious family bathrooms boasting great views across exquisite gardens and the grounds extending beyond.

As standard, during the inspection a permanent record of site notes and photos documented for the full client report.

The heavy rain on the day of inspection aided the record of condition, in particular the roof coverings, gutters, rainwater goods and below ground drainage. To point out, the gutter joints were displaced and seals missing with build-up of debris to gutters preventing flow of rainwater to outlets. All things considered this is a very well maintained property to a high standard.
