RICS Guidance – Dealing with Damp

DMP were recently asked to investigate damp within the ground floor of a semi-detached house formed with solid masonry construction.

Upon inspection we assessed that the cause of the mould and staining was actually a build-up of condensation and advised the client of the suitable ventilation methods to naturally relieve the owners of the mould ingress.
